Young Actors’ Theatre believes in giving opportunities to as many students as possible. In order to accomplish this, we have 2 student divisions: Junior Division (grades 2-8) & Senior Division (grades 8-college up to age 26.) All students are required to take a class concurrently with production enrollment in order to continue their training in the arts. Our classes are divided according to skill level.  Performers that have not taken any introductory performing classes will be required to do so as a pre-requisite to taking any intermediate and advanced level classes.  Some of our classes require approval by instructor before classes begin.  Any exceptions require Educational Administrator approval.

All of our classes are taught by professional teaching artists who been trained in the CA Arts Education Standards.  All classes are designed to prepare the students for the next level of training and eventual stage work.

Both the beginning and advanced vocal classes will be a first step in qualifying for the City Ballet Youth Choir, which performs in the professional production of NUTCRACKER at the Spreckels Theatre in December.

Classes are being held in a 5 week sessions.  Cost is $125 for the five week session and the next session will begin the week of February 20, 2012.
