Wilfred Paloma
Wilfred is a California based artist with a M.A. in Theatre Arts at San Diego State University and a B.A. in Theatre Performance: Acting and Musical Theatre. Wilfred is also a graduate of the MCIT Acting Studio and is a member of the Actors' Equity Association.
Wilfred engages with diverse populations that span K-12 teaching and facilitating Arts Integration, Discrete Arts and Arts Enrichment programs as well as community workshops and other adult programs. In addition to his work with Young Actors' Theatre, Wilfred is a Professor of Theatre Arts at Grossmont College. Wilfred also partners with La Jolla Playhouse, Imagine Brave Spaces, Arts Education Connection, Diversionary Theatre, and San Diego Junior Theatre. He runs a private performing arts studio specializing in Acting, Dance/Movement & other forms of performance. Past production credits include: Director and Choreographer for School of Rock (SDJT), Choreographer Hunchback of Notre Dame (SDJT), Assistant Director and Choreographer for R+J (SDSU). Wilfred performed in La Jolla Playhouse’s 2017 POP Tour: Light Years Away. Music Director:
Matt Ignacio
Matt Ignacio is an accomplished singer and choir director. He is the Artistic Director for Tremble Clefs San Diego, as well as the Music Director at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. He is also a teacher with T3 Triple Threat and Theatro San Diego. His previous YAT credits include Bye Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Mulan, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Matilda, and more!
Stage Manager:
Jerrica Ignacio
Jerrica is a musician and stage manager who plays piano, strings and reeds with various ensembles around San Diego. Stage Management credits include YAT's Peter and the Starcatcher, Wizard of Oz, Annie, Mary Poppins, and Matilda, CCT's Little Mermaid, and others. She has been the Music Director for YAT's Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into the Woods, Lion King Jr., and Xanadu, as well as Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical, I Love You You're Perfect Now Change, and Vanities with other companies.
