Thank you for your interest in applying to the Young Actors’ Theatre Production Scholarship fund.  Our goal is to make certain that children from all walks of life enhance their education by including instruction in the performing arts.  To that end Young Actors’ Theatre gladly offers scholarships to families or children that may not otherwise be able to participate.  As a registered 501 (c) (3) organization we feel it our obligation to serve the community of San Diego to the best of our ability.

Young Actors’ Theatre does seek out supplemental income in order to provide these grants to our patrons.  Many of our grantors request that we keep complete and accurate records on the performers to whom we provide assistance.  However, this information is kept confidential.  Some Grantors request some simple information, at which case we will let you know ahead of time, otherwise, It will not be shared with any other entity or marketing company.  The grantors will receive a report that only lists demographics in total or aggregate form.  The information is compiled into a group of statistics so your specific personal information will not be shared.

Please note that we actively search for Grantors, and sometimes we have multiple productions scholarships available and sometimes we have sadly have none. By filling out the application, it doesn't guarantee you will receive the scholarship.
