VISIT US THIS SUMMER AS YOUNG ACTORS' THEATRE

PRODUCES ONE OF ITS LONG TIME FAVORITES, DISNEY'S

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

A SENIOR AND JUNIOR DIVISION SHOW

Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty And The Beast! The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

What a treat! We had a great time watching this musical. The orchestra was just spot-on. They sounded great. The actors were very entertaining and the story moved along seamlessly. Would definitely recommend

Best show with an outstanding cast

The Choreography was outstanding! I absolutely had a great time with my friend! Great small intimate theatre also

Great show! A feel better kind of show. Very energetic crew and very talented

Wonderful seats, beautiful performance, my granddaughter's first experience, she is now hooked on theatre!

For a community theater they did a superb job. Great music and great singing will not disappoint. The sound system is a bit temperamental but a great night. Raffles abound for helping this non-profit so bring a few dollars. Plenty of good seats.

Director:

Jean Isaac

Jean has been working with kids and theater for nearly 25 years. After growing up in a youth theater that was a major part of her extracurricular activities, Jean felt the need to get her own children involved in theater. What started as a desire to present a school play through the PTA at her kids’ elementary school soon evolved into a regular program offering after school drama classes. Shortly thereafter YOUNG ACTORS’ THEATRE was born. Over the years, YAT has produced over 50 productions, and has seen hundreds of students train with us. Some directing favorites include: The Music Man, Beauty & the Beast, Seussical, Peter Pan, Legally Blonde, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Les Miserables, Ragtime, West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof. Jean is extremely grateful to her children, grandchildren and her husband for all of their ongoing support.

As an actor, Perry has performed all over San Diego for companies such as The Welk Resort, Starlight Theatre and Lambs Players Theatre. In addition, he founded and directs his own award winning A Cappella Group "SoundWave" at San Diego State University. Perry loves being apart of this wonderful company; YAT has allowed him to express himself and his creativity.

In 1989, he was a Jeopardy champion and appeared on the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
