INTO THE WOODS

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Chrissy is excited to return to her YAT family after directing last years smash

hit Snoopy!

Chrissy Burns is a multi award winning director, producer, and choreographer with productions including Grease, Spelling Bee, 13 the Musical, Chicago, Sweet Charity, 42nd Street, and many more. She has served as Associate Director at the Old Globe Theater. Chrissy has worked as an actor in dozens of theatrical productions throughout San Diego. She was part of the cast of MiXtape, Lambs Players long running 80’s hit. Chrissy also works as a Marilyn Monroe Look-a-Like Entertainer. Other characters include Liza, Lucy, Janice Joplin, and Carmen Miranda. She has performed for San Diego’s top corporations, conventions nationwide and MTV Japan. Chrissy is a private Vocal Coach preparing her many students for a successful career in the performing arts. She has a passion for teaching and loves to help her students learn and grow while helping them achieve their full potential. SingWithChrissy.com

Jessica is excited about returning to the YAT family! Her pervious YAT credits include Once Upon a Mattress (Queen Aggravain), Grease (Cha Cha), A Chorus Line (Sheila), and Nosies Off (Dotty/Mrs. Clackett). This is her first time being "behind the scenes" of a show and she is very excited to be on this journey with her wife, Chrissy. Jessica has a Bachelors Degree from UC San Diego in Writing/Literature with a minor in American Sign Language. She is currently cast in the role of  "Crew Member" in an ongoing show in La Mesa called Trader Joe's!

Jerrica began playing the piano at age 4 and it quickly became her life passion. She became an masterful pianist before moving to San Diego to study music at Grossmont College and San Diego State University. In high school and college she began to pick up other instruments; cello, clarinet, violin, bassoon, and voice. She has played and sang in musical ensembles at Grossmont, SDSU and the City Ballet. Jerrica now performs around San Diego in multiple orchestras and directs a children's choir in Little Italy. She played in the orchestra for YAT'S production of Beauty and the Beast, and was previously the Music Director of YAT's Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Danielle Dudley

Danielle has been involved with YAT for the past two years, with her first show being the ASM for Hairspray. Danielle has been stage managing ever since high school & now is pursuing a career in stage management. She has received an Associates degree in Technical Theatre from Grossmont College & is currently working on receiving her bachelors in Theatre Arts from UCSD. Some of her past credits include: The Odyssey (Grossmont College, SM), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Grossmont College, SM), Kimberly Akimbo (Grossmont College, SM), The Piano Lesson (Set Designer, SM), Spring Awakening (YAT, SM), Addams Family: The Musical (YAT, SM), A Holiday to Remember (YAT, SM), Foreground: Dance Thesis Works (UCSD, ASM), Rocks in Her Pocket (UCSD, Production Assistant). Danielle is absolutely thrilled to be back & working with YAT!
