Bring your favorite musicals to life in this exciting class that explores moving seamlessly from scene work into song! Students will work together in groups to build strong storytelling skills, connect dialogue to music, and discover how acting and singing combine to create dynamic performances.

Throughout the session, students will rehearse selections that include both dialogue and song. They’ll strengthen their ability to collaborate, develop characters, and gain confidence on stage—all while having fun with their peers. Whether your performer is brand new to theatre or ready to grow in group performance, this class will help take their stage presence to the next level!

This is a 7 week long session. The first class is Tuesday, September 16th and the last class will be on Tuesday, October 28th. Each class is 90 minutes long, from 5:00pm-6:30pm.

This class is designed for anyone ages 7-14. Only 15 spots available this session.

In this fun and energetic class, students will explore the art of improvisation through games, exercises, and group activities. They’ll learn how to think on their feet, make bold choices, and support their scene partners while creating hilarious and heartfelt moments on the spot.

Throughout the session, students will practice building characters, collaborating as an ensemble, and trusting their instincts. Along the way, they’ll strengthen their storytelling, sharpen their listening skills, and grow more confident on stage—all while having a blast with their peers.

This is a 7 week long session. The first class is Tuesday, September 16th and the last class will be on Tuesday, October 28th. Each class is 60 minutes long, from 6:30pm-7:30pm

This class is designed for anyone ages 7-14. Only 15 spots available this session.

Hip Hop/Jazz combines the high-energy, rhythmic movements of hip hop with the stylized, expressive techniques of jazz. The class typically begins with a dynamic warm-up to improve flexibility, coordination, and strength. Students will learn foundational steps, isolations, and grooves from hip hop, as well as jazz techniques such as kicks, turns, and leaps. Choreography blends the sharp, grounded movements of hip hop with the fluid, theatrical style of jazz, allowing dancers to explore both precision and creativity. The environment is upbeat and supportive, encouraging self-expression, musicality, and performance skills. By the end of the class, participants will have improved their dance vocabulary, confidence, and ability to adapt to different styles.



This is a 6 week long session. The first class is Sunday, September 28th and the last class will be on Sunday, November 2nd. Each class is 60 minutes long, from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

This class is designed for anyone ages 7-12. Only 10 spots available this session.

Tap Dance explores the two traditions of rhythm tap (hoofing) and Broadway tap. Class begins with warm up exercises in the center that increase control, coordination, and rhythm, followed by across the floor exercises that teach dynamics, and musicality. The goal is to develop tap dancers that are equally strong musicians, dancers, and performers. Students will learn the basics and build a strong foundation of classic steps, while putting together a routine. No experience is necessary, but tap shoes are required for all students and you must wear appropriate dance attire!



This is a 6 week long session. The first class is Sunday, September 28th and the last class will be on Sunday, November 2nd. Each class is 60 minutes long, from 5:00pm-6:00pm.

This class is designed for anyone ages 12-17. Only 10 spots available this session.

Step into the audition room with confidence! In this upbeat class, students will learn choreography each week and practice the entire dance call process from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll pick up tips and tricks for adding story into your movement, mastering choreography quickly, and performing with personality. The goal? To get more comfortable, let go of the fear, and truly shine when it counts. By the end, you’ll walk into every dance call ready to nail it!

 

Please wear clothing you can move in, and bring jazz or comfortable dance shoes.


This is a 6 week long session. The first class is Sunday, September 28th and the last class will be on Sunday, November 2nd. Each class is 60 minutes long, from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

This class is designed for anyone ages 10-college. Only 15 spots available this session.

Sing it, act it, own it! In this high energy class, students will dive into their favorite songs and discover the stories hiding between the notes. This class is perfect for performers who want to connect deeply with their material and stand out in auditions. We’ll break down lyrics for acting intentions, focus on powerful storytelling, and create polished one-minute cuts perfect for auditions. Along the way, you’ll also pick up some sheet music basics to boost your confidence. Get ready to bring the drama, the heart, and a little bit of sparkle to every song! 


This is a 6 week long session. The first class is Sunday, September 28th and the last class will be on Sunday, November 2nd. Each class is 90 minutes long, from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

This class is designed for anyone ages 10-college. Only 10 spots available this session.

Young Actors' Theatre Participation Liability and Waiver form

Young Actors' Theatre Participation Liability and Waiver form. This form is intended to be completed by all participants of Young Actors' Theatre including all cast, crew, volunteers, campers and class attendees. This form MUST be completed before attending any of our programs. If you have not completed this form since August 1, 2025, we will need you to have this completed prior to the first class.
