She has been involved with YAT in various avenues: camp director, camp counselor, class teacher, stage manager, assistant director and director for 24 Hour Musicals, Grease & High School Musical. Her roots grew in local youth theatre groups and arts schools in the area; she is an SDSCPA MT graduate, and continued to get her Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts Performance from SDSU. There, she had the opportunity to serve on the Musical Theatre Club as the Artistic Director, where she cultivated cabarets, exhibitions, and full-scale musicals for undergraduate students looking for theatrical opportunities.
