Chrissy Burns is delighted to return to the director’s chair at Young Actors’ Theatre for A Chorus Line! This marks her 16th production with YAT, following last summer’s hit production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Her past YAT directing credits include Mean Girls, Bring It On, Popstars, Nunsense, SpongeBob, 42nd Street, Puffs, Freaky Friday, Matilda, Disenchanted, Songs for a New World, Smile, Into the Woods, and Snoopy! Chrissy has directed and choreographed for numerous professional and community theatres throughout San Diego and has served as a Directing Associate at The Old Globe. As an actor, she has worked professionally in a wide variety of productions both locally and beyond. In addition to directing, Chrissy is a private voice and audition coach through SingWithChrissy Vocal Studio, where she prepares students for collegiate programs, professional opportunities, and lifelong success in the performing arts. She is also the founder and director of Team Talent Performing Arts, home of the 2026 National Champions. Chrissy is honored to create within the inclusive, encouraging environment of YAT and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of theatre artists.
