Kim is thrilled to be back working at YAT! She lived and worked for many years in New York, and has performed all over the country. Some favorite roles include: Jennyanydots in “Cats,” Kate in “Kiss Me, Kate,” Frankie in “Frankie and Johnny at the Clair de Lune,” and Josie in “A Moon for the Misbegotten.” Most recently, she portrayed Phyllis in "Follies" at Coronado Playhouse. She also directed "Lion King" at Young Actors' Theatre last year, as well as played Miss Hannigan in “Annie,” and Emma Goldman in “Ragtime.” She has also done several shows at Off-Broadway Live in Santee the last two seasons. Kim thanks her husband and children for all their support and patience!
Wilfred is a California based artist finishing his M.A. in Theatre Arts focusing on K-12 Education at San Diego State University where he holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance: Acting and Musical Theatre. Wilfredtrains at MCIT Studio focusing on Meisner and Chekhov Acting technique. In addition to his work at Young Actors Theater, Wilfred works as a teaching artist with the California Center of the Arts, Playwright’s Project, and San Diego Junior Theatre. Past: CYT, COSA (guest artist), Chaparral High School, and the Sweetwater Union High School District. Wilfred actively engages in social justice centered work with Blindspot Collective and performs on various stages in San Diego. Upcoming performances: La Jolla Playhouse Pop Tour: Light Years Away. In 2017, Wilfred was in the original west coast cast of "O Wondrous Night" at SeaWorld San Diego. Matt is a cantor and director of the Youth Choir at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, where he recently starred as Joseph in the SJC Drama Ministry's production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is always thrilled to musically direct in YAT productions. He loves being able to work with such talented students. Previous shows include Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Bye Bye Birdie The Music Man, Mulan and The Jungle Book, jr.
Jerrica is an accomplished musician and plays piano, strings and reeds with various ensembles around San Diego including ensembles at Grossmont, SDSU, local playhouses and the City Ballet Orchestra. She played in the orchestra for YAT'S production of Beauty and the Beast and Ragtime, and was previously the Music Director of YAT's Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into the Woods, My Son Pinocchio, Jr., and Lion King Jr. as well as stage managing Peter and the Starcatcher, Wizard of Oz, Annie, Seussical & Mary Poppins. Jerrica is excited to be in such a fun production, Alice in Wonderland, jr!
